When we first moved to Texas from Alaska, we lived in a little town called Plum, TX which is where our Realtor and friend, Carl Mapes, lives. He and his wife, Peg, have a nice old country home plus another building that is almost 100 years old that has been many different things through the years, including a general store, a bar, and at one time even had an alcohol still in the basement with bars on the windows to keep the revenue agents out! That basement, which is the only one in town, is still there and the windows still have the bars. Plum only has a population of a few hundred residents and is a very nice little town. With that being said, here are some pictures that we took while living there...and a few we’ve taken on trips back to Plum.
