This is one of the twin glaciers that form the Taku River. Ice from these glaciers are used to provide all the refridgeration at the Taku Lodge and is even used for the iced tea and other drinks we had during lunch.  The guys from the lodge go up to the face of the glacier in little aluminum boats, cut off big chunks of the cleanest ice they can find, then transport it back to the lodge where it is cleaned and stored for future use.
